Poverty, a kind and loving but ailing mother and financial duress that is threatening to take away the run down shack that he calls home eventually coerce Sam into reluctantly taking a new job at a local photography studio. Will he persevere at this ‘weird job’ or will he quit? Will he face the challenges that lay ahead or will he back down and go back to scavenging dumpsters for scarps? Shower scenes always remind me of decades ago when I was a older teen volunteer counselor at summer camps and would have to leave the group showers because I was starting to get hard because of some of the beautiful younger boys in there.
A few of which I would later arrange to be alone with in the storeroom, an empty cabin or off one of the hiking trails while the others were off doing something else.
